Introducing: Dion Lee
What do you know about Dion Lee? Not much…? Well neither did we. Yeah we knew he graduated from the Fashion Design Studio, Sydney TAFE in 2007. Then showed at Aussie Fashion Week the very next year. To HUGE success.
We knew about his signature mark – distinctive + sophisticated use of innovative cuts and pattern making, out there fabrics, one-off prints and textile manipulations which create garments that neatly balance originality and wearability.
We knew about his joining forces with Cue in 2011 to create a range of daywear featuring his sharp tailoring. Then there was the Woolmark Prize and London Fashion Week in the season just gone.
